Overview
Fishing in the Red Sea is better at night. The water cools, the boat traffic disappears and the species that stay deep during the heat of the day come up to feed around the reef edges. The crew are local fishermen who work these waters year-round, so they choose the spot on the night based on wind and moon rather than a fixed route. Rods, bait and tackle are all supplied and the crew will bait hooks and unhook fish for anyone who would rather not. What you catch is grilled on board and eaten at sea. Common catches include grouper, snapper, barracuda and emperor. Nothing is guaranteed, but the crew carry backup food so no one goes home hungry. Transfer to the boat, meet the captain and prepare rods, bait and safety gear before leaving the harbor.
Stop 2: Fishing spots by the reefs

Stop 3: Swim, lunch and relax
Pause for swimming or snorkeling when conditions allow, then enjoy a simple lunch and soft drinks onboard.
Stop 4: Return to Hurghada
