Overview
Royal Ruby is a five-star cruise ship launched in 2005 and built to American Bureau of Shipping rules. It sails between Luxor and Aswan with calls at Edfu and Kom Ombo, departing every Monday from Luxor and every Friday from Aswan on four, five or eight-day programmes; we confirm the sailing date and cabin category before you book. Most of the accommodation is double cabins of about 21 m², each with full-length opening windows and a balcony rail, plus a small number of single cabins and suites. Every cabin has individually controlled air-conditioning, a private shower room and a choice of double or twin beds. The sundeck has a swimming pool, and inside there is a large restaurant serving buffet meals, a lounge bar and fitness equipment. Cabins are full board and the temple visits follow a fixed programme with a guide. Royal Ruby II is a separate, newer ship. If you have seen that name elsewhere, ask us and we will make sure you are quoted for the right one.

Luxor East Bank
