Detailed Itinerary
Your sailing programme
The published duration options are 4 / 5 / 8 Days. Choose your direction, length and cabin from the price table, and we confirm the day-by-day timings when you book.
Luxor East Bank
Visit Karnak and Luxor temples with your guide, exploring the monumental courts and ceremonial spaces of ancient Thebes. Return to the vessel after the visit.
Luxor West Bank
Explore the Valley of the Kings, the terraced Temple of Hatshepsut and the Colossi of Memnon with your guide. These visits connect royal burial traditions with the temples of the West Bank before the onward sailing.
Esna and the river passage
Continue through Esna on the Nile route. The Esna lock crossing is timed with river traffic.
Edfu: Temple of Horus
Visit the well-preserved Temple of Horus at Edfu and discover its courtyards, reliefs and sanctuary with your guide.
Kom Ombo: the double temple
Step ashore at Kom Ombo to explore the riverside double temple dedicated to Sobek and Haroeris. Your guide explains its paired spaces and reliefs before the journey continues along the Nile.
Aswan sightseeing
Discover the Aswan High Dam, the granite quarries with the Unfinished Obelisk and Philae Temple, reached by boat.
Optional Abu Simbel and Aswan leisure
An excursion to the temples of Ramesses II and Nefertari at Abu Simbel can be added as an optional extra. Any road or flight connection must fit the confirmed cruise and onward transfer; airline tickets are excluded. Or simply relax and enjoy some free time.
Eight-day option: return sailing to Luxor
Continue north along the Nile on the return leg of the eight-day programme, passing the Esna lock. Enjoy the river scenery and free time aboard before reaching Luxor.
Eight-day option: arrival back in Luxor
If you select the eight-day round-trip programme, arrive back in Luxor for the East Bank visits listed on that sailing. Karnak and Luxor temples are visited once, at the start or the end of the cruise.
