Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Embarkation and Luxor East Bank
Arrive to a decorated cabin and a welcome table set for two. Visit Karnak and Luxor temples in the late afternoon, when the light is best for photographs and the crowds have thinned.
Day 2: West Bank at first light
An early start at the Valley of the Kings ahead of the coach groups, then Hatshepsut and the Colossi of Memnon. Afternoon on deck as the boat sails south, with a private dinner served at a separate table.
Day 3: Edfu and Kom Ombo
Horse-drawn carriage to the Temple of Horus, then the double temple of Sobek and Haroeris in the softer afternoon light. Sailing on to Aswan.
Day 4: Aswan, Philae and a private felucca
The High Dam, the Unfinished Obelisk and Philae Temple, followed by a felucca chartered for the two of you at sunset around Elephantine Island.
Day 5: Disembarkation
Breakfast on deck and disembarkation. Abu Simbel, a Nubian house lunch or a hot air balloon over Luxor can be added to either end of the cruise.
