Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Cairo
Meet and assist at the airport, private transfer and hotel check-in.
Day 2: Giza, Saqqara and Memphis
The pyramid plateau and the Sphinx, the Step Pyramid at Saqqara and the colossus of Ramesses II at Memphis.
Day 3: Grand Egyptian Museum and Old Cairo
The Tutankhamun collection in the morning, then the Coptic quarter, the Hanging Church and Khan El Khalili bazaar.
Day 4: Flight to Luxor and embarkation
Morning flight, board your cruise ship and visit Karnak and Luxor temples in the afternoon.
Day 5: Luxor West Bank and sailing to Edfu
Valley of the Kings, Hatshepsut and the Colossi, then sail through the Esna lock.
Day 6: Edfu and Kom Ombo
Horse-drawn carriage to the Temple of Horus and the double temple of Sobek and Haroeris, continuing to Aswan.
Day 7: Aswan
The High Dam, the Unfinished Obelisk and Philae Temple, with an afternoon felucca around Elephantine Island.
Day 8: Disembarkation and departure
