Detailed Itinerary
Embarkation in Luxor & East Bank Tour (Day 1)
Arrive in Luxor (airport or train station) where our representative will greet you and transfer you to your luxury Nile cruise ship . Check into your cabin before lunch on board. In the afternoon, meet your guide to explore the Luxor East Bank. Visit the sprawling Karnak Temple complex and the beautifully preserved Luxor Temple. Return to the ship for dinner and your first overnight stay on the Nile.
Luxor West Bank & Sailing to Edfu (Day 2)
After breakfast, cross to the West Bank to explore the Valley of the Kings , descending into the brilliantly painted tombs of the pharaohs. Continue to the impressive terraced Temple of Queen Hatshepsut and stop for photos at the Colossi of Memnon. Return to the ship for lunch as you begin your serene journey up the Nile, passing through the Esna Lock. Dinner and overnight on board as you sail towards Edfu.
Edfu & Kom Ombo Temples (Day 3)
Enjoy breakfast on board before taking a traditional horse-drawn carriage to the Temple of Horus in Edfu , the most intact ancient temple in Egypt. Return to the ship and sail towards Kom Ombo. After lunch on the sun deck, disembark to visit the unique Temple of Kom Ombo, dedicated symmetrically to the crocodile god Sobek and the falcon god Haroeris. Continue sailing to Aswan. Aswan Sightseeing (Day 4)
