Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Giza, Saqqara and Memphis
Collection from Cairo airport or your hotel. The Great Pyramid, Khafre and Menkaure, the panoramic viewpoint and the Sphinx through the Valley Temple. After lunch, the Step Pyramid of Djoser at Saqqara and the colossus of Ramesses II at Memphis. Overnight in Cairo.
Day 2: Grand Egyptian Museum and Old Cairo
The museum at opening, from the Ramesses atrium and Grand Staircase through the main galleries and the Tutankhamun collection. In the afternoon, Coptic Cairo and Khan El Khalili. Overnight in Cairo.
Day 3: Flight to Luxor and the East Bank
Morning flight south. After checking in, Karnak in the late afternoon and Luxor Temple as the lighting comes on, walking part of the restored Avenue of Sphinxes. Overnight in Luxor.
Day 4: West Bank and departure
Cross at opening for the Valley of the Kings, the Temple of Hatshepsut and the Colossi of Memnon, then the flight back to Cairo for your international connection. A sunrise balloon flight can be added before the West Bank visit.
