Detailed Itinerary
Arrival in Cairo (Day 1)
Welcome to Egypt. Enjoy a VIP meet and assist service at Cairo Airport before being transferred to your luxury hotel. Relax and prepare for the journey ahead.
Giza Pyramids, Sphinx & Saqqara (Day 2)
Begin your Egypt holiday with a visit to the Great Pyramids of Giza and the Sphinx. After lunch, drive to Saqqara to witness the Step Pyramid of Djoser, the earliest colossal stone building in Egypt. Overnight in Cairo.
Full-Day Tour to Alexandria (Day 3)
Drive to the Mediterranean coastal city of Alexandria (about 3 hours). Visit the Catacombs of Kom El Shoqafa, Pompey’s Pillar, and the impressive Qaitbay Citadel, built on the site of the ancient Lighthouse of Alexandria. Explore the modern Bibliotheca Alexandrina before returning to Cairo.
The Egyptian Museum & Old Cairo (Day 4)
Tour the renowned Egyptian Museum, viewing thousands of ancient artifacts. After lunch, explore the Citadel of Saladin and the Mohamed Ali Mosque. Wander through the historical Khan El Khalili bazaar. Overnight in Cairo.
Fly to Aswan & Embark Nile Cruise (Day 5)
Transfer to Cairo Airport for a flight to Aswan. Board your 5-star Nile cruise and enjoy lunch. In the afternoon, visit the Aswan High Dam, the Unfinished Obelisk, and the beautiful Philae Temple. Dinner and overnight on board.
Abu Simbel (Optional) & Sail to Kom Ombo (Day 6)
Early morning optional trip to the majestic temples of Abu Simbel . In the afternoon, sail to Kom Ombo and visit the unique double temple dedicated to the crocodile god Sobek. Sail to Edfu and overnight on board.
Edfu Temple & Sail to Luxor (Day 7)
Visit the well-preserved Temple of Horus in Edfu by horse-drawn carriage. Return to the ship and sail towards Luxor. Enjoy afternoon tea on the sun deck and a festive dinner on board. Overnight in Luxor.
Luxor West Bank (Day 8)
Disembark after breakfast to explore the West Bank. Visit the incredible Valley of the Kings , the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, and the Colossi of Memnon. Return to the cruise for lunch and enjoy a free afternoon. Overnight on board in Luxor.
Luxor East Bank & Fly to Cairo (Day 9)
Check out from the cruise. Visit the massive Karnak Temple Complex and Luxor Temple on the East Bank. Later, transfer to Luxor Airport for your flight back to Cairo. Transfer to your Cairo hotel for your final night.
Departure (Day 10)
After breakfast, transfer to Cairo International Airport for your final departure.
