The best time to visit Luxor and Aswan is generally from October to April, when the weather is cooler and long sightseeing days are more comfortable. December and January are the busiest months, while October, November, February and March often give a strong balance of good weather and smoother touring. Summer can be very hot, but early starts and private transfers can still make short visits possible.
